Reliable Quarter-Turn Isolation for Hydraulic and Industrial Fluid Systems

HILCO Split Transfer Valves are engineered to provide uninterrupted fluid flow during transfer operations in critical industrial systems. As one of three HILCO transfer valve configurations, the split three-way design supports continuous operation while helping maintain system integrity during equipment maintenance and fluid routing changes.

Designed for demanding liquid service applications, HILCO Split Transfer Valves combine rugged construction with positive sealing and straightforward field maintenance.

HILCO Split Transfer Valve Key Features:

Split Three-Way Configuration

Designed to maintain uninterrupted fluid flow while transferring between parallel system components.

Spring and Pressure-Loaded Sealing Pads

Utilizes HILCO’s pad design in place of conventional plugs to provide positive sealing while minimizing internal leakage during transfer operations.

Heavy-Wall Precision-Machined Construction

Manufactured from rugged steel or stainless steel body materials with a straight-body design that helps minimize distortion and maintain consistent operating performance.

Simplified Maintenance and Serviceability

Internal valve components can be accessed and removed from either the top or bottom of the valve, helping reduce maintenance time and simplifying field repairs.

HOW IT WORKS

Transferring Flow Without Interrupting Operation

HILCO Split Transfer Valves are designed to move flow between parallel components while maintaining continuous system operation. Commonly installed in duplex filtration systems, the split three-way configuration allows one housing to remain online while flow is transferred to the alternate side.

The design combines positive sealing, low operating torque, and a controlled transfer sequence to support critical systems where interruption of flow is not desirable.

HILCO Split Transfer Valves Help Deliver:

Uninterrupted System Operation

Transfers flow between parallel components while maintaining service.

Positive Sealing During Transfer

Spring and pressure-loaded pads remain engaged throughout operation to help minimize leakage.

Low Operating Torque

Requires less turning force than comparable plug valve designs when pressures are properly equalized.

Reliable Sealing Performance

Designed to meet established industry sealing standards for dependable operation.

HILCO Split Transfer Valves utilize a split three-way flow path and spring-loaded sealing pad arrangement to direct fluid between service paths. As the valve is actuated, flow is transferred from one side of the system to the other while sealing surfaces remain loaded against the valve body to maintain sealing integrity throughout the transfer sequence.
