HILCO Same Side and Straight-Thru Valves
HILCO Same Side & Straight-Thru Transfer Valves
Pressure Equalized Valve Design for Low-Torque Operation
HILCO Same Side and Straight-Thru Valves are designed for duplex filtration systems, duplex shell and tube heat exchangers, duplex plate and frame heat exchangers, compressor lube oil systems, seal oil systems, and other fluid handling applications where flow must be transferred between operating and standby equipment.
Utilizing full-port flow paths, pressure equalization features, and positive sealing components, these valves allow equipment to be isolated for maintenance while the system remains online. Available in multiple configurations and sizes, HILCO Same Side and Straight-Thru Valves are designed to support efficient fluid transfer with low pressure drop and reduced operating torque.

HILCO Same Side and Straight through Valves Key Features:
Full-Port Flow Design
Full-port flow paths help minimize restrictions through the valve and reduce pressure losses throughout the system.
Pressure Equalization System
Pressure equalization ports or equalization lines balance pressure across the valve before transfer occurs, helping reduce operating torque requirements.
Positive Sealing Components
Spring and pressure-loaded sealing pads work with precision-machined sealing surfaces to provide positive sealing during operation.
Rebuildable Construction
Pads and seals can be replaced using common hand tools without replacing the valve body, helping extend service life and reduce maintenance costs.
HOW IT WORKS
Directing Flow Between Parallel System Components
HILCO Same Side and Straight-Thru Valves are installed between parallel filters, heat exchangers, and other process equipment to direct flow to the desired vessel. During a transfer, flow is redirected from one component to another while the alternate side is isolated for maintenance or servicing.

HILCO Same Side and Straight Through Valves Help Deliver:
Flow Transfer Between Parallel Equipment
Directs fluid from one vessel to another during maintenance or system changeovers.
Pressure Equalization Before Transfer
Balances pressure across the valve prior to actuation to help reduce operating torque.
Positive Sealing Throughout Operation
Spring and pressure-loaded pads remain engaged to help maintain sealing between flow paths.
Full-Port Flow Path
Minimizes restrictions and helps reduce pressure losses through the valve.
The design combines pressure equalization, positive sealing, and full-port flow paths to support duplex systems where equipment must be serviced without interrupting operation.
