The A400 is an arm style caliper brake designed to accept a large selection of Hilliard thrusters. These thrusters include spring applied hydraulic released, spring applied pneumatic released, hydraulic applied spring released, and pneumatic applied spring released. The 400 requires a minimum disc diameter of 24" and is off ered in 2 sizes to accommodate a 1" and 1-1/2" thick disc. The design of the caliper allows the user to quickly convert between right and left handed designs eliminating the need for multiple part numbers.

The AS thruster is a direct applied thruster that is pneumatically applied spring released. The Pneumatic applied thrusters are offered in multiple sizes to meet the needs of our customers. The T400 AS thruster produces a maximum braking force of 8400 pounds at the maximum operating pressure of 67 psi. (This
thruster is only to be used on the A400 caliper)

The HS thruster is a direct applied thruster that is hydraulically applied spring released. The T400 thruster produces a maximum braking force of 8081 pounds at the maximum operating pressure of 1600 psi. (This thruster is only to be used on the A400 caliper)

The Hilliard MK350 is an electromagnetic, fail safe caliper brake. Spring applied, electric released, it is suitable for holding duty and emergency for applications such as conveyors, elevators and cranes. Alternative mounting arrangement: pin mounting, base mounting horizontal and base mounting angle. 

The MK350 is capable of producing a maximum 350 LBF of braking force with up to 210 VDC release voltage and 100 VDC holding voltage. Mounted on pins allowing for axial movement, it has an optional manual release mechanism for a momentarily brake release with a standard open-end or socket wrench.

The Hilliard MK750 is an electromagnetic, fail safe caliper brake. Spring applied, electric released, it is suitable for holding duty and emergency for applications such as conveyors, elevators and cranes. The Hilliard MK1400 is an electromagnetic, fail safe caliper brake. Spring applied, electric released, it is suitable for holding duty and emergency for applications such as theatrical stage lifts, elevators and cranes. Alternative mounting arrangement: pin mounting, base mounting horizontal and base mounting angle. 

The MK1400 is capable of producing a maximum 1,400 LBF of braking force with up to 210 VDC release voltage and 100 VDC holding voltage. Mounted on pins allowing for axial movement, it has an optional manual release mechanism for a momentarily brake release with a standard open-end or socket wrench.

The Hilliard MK4800 is an electromagnetic, fail safe caliper brake. Spring applied, electric released, it is suitable for holding duty and emergency for applications such as heavy duty lift operations, conveyors, elevators and cranes. Alternative mounting arrangement: pin mounting, base mounting horizontal and base mounting angle. 

The MK4800 is capable of producing a maximum 4,800 LBF of braking force with up to 210 VDC release voltage and 100 VDC holding voltage. Mounted on pins allowing for axial movement, it has an optional manual release mechanism for a momentarily brake release with a standard open-end or socket wrench.
